JIGSAW PIECES

 People are jigsaw pieces.

Each one unique,

Each one with many edges

That interrelate and interlock.

The point of contact with each other differs,

For various facets of one’s personality

Are needed to complement others.

Each fusion sharpens the whole  picture.

Puzzling personalities fit naturally

Into the emerging pattern.

The colour and detail of friends

Blend together into a larger picture,

Into a segment of the world

That is brighter and clearer.

Each finds his unique place,

 Is supported and supports.

Is related and relates,

Is finished and helps finish,

Becomes more complete and helps complete.

Thank you Lord,

For making each of us

A unique,

Dependent,

Needed,

Jigsaw piece.
